Leoben, July 2011

The MACAN summer school in Leoben will be held from July 4th until July 14th 2011.

It will start on Monday, July 4th, in the evening and is comprised of eight days of teaching in the morning and hands-on exercises in the afternoon. The lectures can be attended as well by all MACAN members and all speakers. Participation of the afternoon exercises is exclusively reserved for the students to encourage independent discussion between young scientists and to provide opportunities for hand-on studies to deepen the understanding of the morning lectures. Students must participate for the whole school and will have the opportunity to present their current research during a poster session. The summer school will end on Thursday, July 14th, in the early afternoon.
